Bipartite entanglement measures for anyonic systems

Wenhao Ye, Li You, and Cheng-Qian Xu

Phys. Rev. Research 8, L022010 (2026) - Published 10 April, 2026

Bipartite entanglement in anyonic systems, whose state spaces are shaped by fusion rules and superselection constraints, is investigated. The work formulates three entanglement measures within a resource-theoretic framework and establishes an additive decomposition of total entanglement into conventional entanglement and anyonic charge entanglement.

Phys. Rev. Research 8, L012071 (2026) - Published 25 March, 2026

A generative machine learning approach using symmetry-enforced normalizing flows is used to sample from the Boltzmann distribution of the fermionic Hubbard model. By incorporating physical symmetries into the neural network architecture, the method produces unbiased samples and resolves ergodicity issues typically associated with traditional Markov chain Monte Carlo techniques.

Optimal superconductivity in twisted bilayer WSe2 where the Van Hove singularity crosses half-filling

Michał Zegrodnik, Waseem Akbar, Andrzej Biborski, and Louk Rademaker

Phys. Rev. Research 8, L012070 (2026) - Published 25 March, 2026

This study shows that the fundamental feature of unconventional superconductivity in twisted bilayer WSe2 can be explained as a subtle interplay between the large density of states of the Van Hove singularity, in combination with the renormalization effects that appear in the weak-to-moderate correlations regime. The two factors create favorable conditions for the superconducting pairing only in a small area of the phase diagram
