Data analysis from the TRICE-2 sounding rocket in the auroral ionosphere revealed a regime of inertial Alfvén wave turbulence with properties distinct from heliospheric and solar wind plasma turbulence that allows the identification of features related to ionospheric plasma and turbulence cascade which are difficult to access in the laboratory.
