Brent Grocholski Named Chief Editor of Physical Review X

APS is pleased to announce that Brent Grocholski has been selected as Chief Editor of Physical Review X. His transition to this role is effective as of December 2024.

Brent Grocholski received his B.S. in physics from the University of Minnesota and his Ph. D. from the University of California, Berkeley where he studied high pressure systems. He was a postdoctoral research associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before becoming a Peter Buck Fellow at the National Museum of Natural History. Before becoming the Chief Editor of PRX, he spent ten years as an editor at Science focused on applied physics, materials science, and geophysics.

The Physical Review X team is very excited to have Brent Grocholski in the chief editor role, and welcome him aboard.
