Phys. Rev. Research 7, L042045 (2025) - Published 26 November, 2025

Inelastic neutron scattering and transverse-field magnetization measurements on the kagome metal TbV6Sn6 identify the Ising doublet ground state and a spin-reorientation transition driven by the mixing of crystal electric field (CEF) levels. Mean-field modeling indicates that the system resides near a regime where quantum critical and tricritical behavior can be controlled by the field direction and fine-tuning of CEF parameters.

G-type antiferromagnetic ordering with strong anisotropic exchange interactions in SrIr0.8Sn0.2O3

Resonant magnetic x-ray scattering is used to identify the spin pattern of the antiferromagnetic order in SrIr0.8Sn0.2O3, a spin-diluted derivative from paramagnetic SrIrO3. The magnon dispersion extracted from resonant inelastic x-ray scattering data shows large and anisotropic exchange interactions.

Phys. Rev. Research 7, L042043 (2025) - Published 25 November, 2025

The magnetic phase diagram of the canonical heavy fermion metal YbRh2Si2 has been extended to below 1 mK. This work demonstrates the influence of hyperfine interactions, which both stabilize low-temperature electronuclear spin-density-wave order and modify the boundary of the well-known antiferromagnetic state.
