The multiscale spatial variability of hydraulic properties in natural porous media gives rise to random flow fields that significantly influence the macroscale dispersive behavior of solute transport. A key quantity characterizing this behavior (the macrodispersion tensor) is not only affected by the statistical properties of the flow but also depends markedly on the chosen scale of homogenization. In this study, we investigate the interplay between the homogenization scale and non-Gaussian features of the underlying random flow, and their combined impact on the macrodispersion tensor. Semi-analytical expressions are provided to elucidate how these factors jointly govern large-scale transport dynamics.
