PR Fluids Open for Submissions

The American Physical Society’s (APS) latest addition to the Physical Review family of journals, Physical Review Fluids, is now open for submissions. Dedicated to publishing innovative research that will significantly advance the fundamental understanding of fluid dynamics, Physical Review Fluids will publish its first issue in Spring 2016.

John Kim from the University of California, Los Angeles, and Gary Leal from the University of California, Santa Barbara, are the first Editors of Physical Review Fluids. John and Gary will work closely with a distinguished and diverse Editorial Board to position Physical Review Fluids as a leading publication for fluids research.

Physical Review Fluids expands the scope of the APS journals to include additional areas of fluid dynamics research, complements the existing Physical Review collection, and maintains the same quality and reputation that authors and subscribers expect from APS. Physical Review Fluids will include both Research Articles and Rapid Communications, and follow the same high-quality peer-review process as the other Physical Review journals. More information about Physical Review Fluids, including manuscript submission, is available online at journals.aps.org/prfluids.
