After serving 4 years as an academic Associate Editor for Physical Review E, Valerio Lucarini (University of Leicester) has retired from his position. During his tenure, Valerio handled almost 1400 papers on nonlinear dynamics and chaos. Valerio has played an integral role in maintaining the high standards of the journal and we are very grateful for his outstanding contribution as an editor for PRE.
