Abstract
We assess the effects of the third generation on the conclusions drawn from terrestrial neutrino-oscillation experiments, both in a model-independent way and using the Fritzsch and maximal-mixing models. We find that, for small mixing angles, these effects are not significant, but for larger values there can be large differences between the analyses resulting from the two- and three-generation cases, particularly when oscillations are actually observed.
