Abstract
We demonstrate a design for dielectric barrier discharge by utilizing a dimethyl silicone oil-based electrode. This design enables the formation of high-performance plasma photonic crystals (PPCs), supporting a wide range of gas pressures, a broad range of temperatures, and significantly improved microwave signals. Honeycomb superlattices (HSLs) composed of tunable triangular elements have been realized at an elevated temperature. These HSLs are proven to be good candidates for yielding robust valley-locked topological edge states whose frequency can be actively controlled by modulating the sizes of central triangular elements. Our improved scheme provides a promising platform for producing reconfigurable PPCs, paving the way for tailored control of microwave radiation for wide applications.
