Abstract
A simple scheme that could contribute to the construction of quantum double sources effectively is proposed and numerically verified. The scheme could be constructed by a four-wave-mixing system under a weak driving, in which the same-frequency single-photon and two-photon blockade effects could be realized simultaneously based on a blockade mechanism referred to as dressed-state-assisted photon blockade. The advantages of this mechanism over conventional and unconventional photon blockades are revealed, which could contribute to improve the purity and brightness of quantum bisources effectively. All of these make the construction of quantum bisource possible and would open a route to design simple and efficient quantum sources.
