An experimental study of Sg produced in the complete fusion reactions Cr,+,Pb was performed using the SHELS velocity filter. The prompt neutron multiplicities in the spontaneous fission of Sg were measured for the first time, yielding average values of and . The -decay branching ratio of Sg was determined to be . In addition, the half-lives were measured as ,ms (95% C.L., confidence limit) and ,ms (95% C.L.).
