Abstract
elastic scattering and breakup below the threshold is described fully including the virtual coupling to channels. Well-converged results are obtained solving the multichannel scattering equations for three-body transition operators in momentum space. Scattering length, exclusive, semi-inclusive and total elastic and breakup cross sections, and spin observables are calculated, aiming to study their dependence on kinematic variables and dynamic ingredients. The uncertainty due to the hyperon-nucleon interaction model is most sizable. The observables and regimes that could help to constrain the hyperon-nucleon force models are identified. The single-channel approximation of the problem is validated at low and intermediate energies.
