    Abstract

In the framework of dinuclear system model, we analyze the effects of barrier distribution on the synthesis of superheavy nuclei. The capture cross sections and evaporation residual cross sections for the production of superheavy nuclei with Z=112–118 are calculated within two barrier distributions, and a comparison with experimental data is given. Our calculations demonstrate the effects of two barrier distributions on production cross sections mainly at a lower incident energy, corresponding to the 2n and 3n evaporation channel. Both barrier distributions exhibit minimal impact on the optimal incident energy across each exit channel. The uncertainties caused by two barrier distributions are estimated for the production of unknown superheavy nuclei with Z=119 and Z=120.
