Abstract
New experimental data for the collision at MeV bombarding energy is presented. An abundant production of particles has been observed with energies close to those of the scattered beam. The elastic scattering and the -particle angular and energy distributions were obtained. Theoretical analyzes were performed using continuum-discretized coupled-channels calculations in both three- and four-body frameworks, nonelastic breakup calculations via the Ichimura-Austern-Vincent (IAV) model, and fusion-evaporation simulations. The results demonstrate that -particle production is predominantly driven by nonelastic breakup processes with negligible contributions from elastic breakup and - particle evaporation.
