Abstract

The decays of $N^{*}$ and $Δ^{*}$ resonances into $N ρ, Δ π$ , and $N f_{0} (500)$ final states are investigated in a coupled-channel analysis of data from pion- and photoinduced reactions. Improvements in the fit quality are observed upon the inclusion of additional resonance contributions. Branching ratios for the intermediate isobars $Δ (1232) π, N ρ$ , and $N f_{0} (500)$ are reported.
