Abstract
The chronology of emission relative to hydrogen isotopes in collisions at 35 MeV/u is experimentally investigated using the velocity-gated correlation functions of , and pairs. The velocity-gated correlation functions are constructed with the event classification for semicentral and midperipheral events and the source characterization for intermediate-velocity and projectile-like sources. A model-independent inference of the average emission order of and hydrogen isotopes yields , where is the average emission time for a given particle, suggesting that on average, is emitted earlier than proton and deuteron, but later than triton. The conclusion is quite general, independent of the impact parameter nor emission source selections. The obtained emission order of hydrogen isotopes are consistent with those inferred in previous works, providing support for our results of emission relative to the hydrogen isotopes.
