    Abstract

We have extended the valence-space in-medium similarity renormalization group (VS-IMSRG) for construction of ab initio valence-space effective Hamiltonians which include particle-hole and hole-hole interactions. This allows us to choose more appropriate core and valence space for shell-model calculations of nuclei studied, and reduces high-order correlations. Starting from a chiral two- plus three-nucleon force, we have applied the particle-hole VS-IMSRG effective Hamiltonians to proton-hole neutron-particle nuclei located in the “southeast” of Sn132. Their spectroscopic properties were studied.
