Abstract
A study of the odd-odd nucleus with the reaction at 18 MeV incident energy is presented. A distorted-wave Born approximation (DWBA) analysis of measured angular distributions has been performed for 48 states observed in this nucleus up to MeV, yielding information on their possible spin and parity values. Albeit not unique due to inherent ambiguities of the DWBA analysis, these assignments are the only ones existing now for this nucleus, for which values were previously proposed for only two states. A comparison of the observed states is made with theoretical calculations, performed with the Interacting boson-fermion-Fermion Model-2, and the Shell Model, respectively. These results are a first step to a better understanding of the structure of the odd-odd nuclei around the shape phase transition critical point at .
