Abstract
In this work, we demonstrate traveling-wave-mediated remote magnon-magnon coupling over a distance exceeding 2 meters, extending the range of magnetic interactions to the meter scale. For long-range magnon-magnon coupling, the relatively small coupling strength makes propagation loss non-negligible, rendering conventional spectroscopy unreliable for characterizing the coupled-mode structure. To address this issue, we employ the determinant of the two-port scattering matrix, , as a qualitative spectral observable. Using this observable, we reproduce the widely reported characteristic evolution from coherent to dissipative coupling regimes under continuous phase tuning. This work extends the spatial range of magnetic interactions and advances the characterization of weak magnon-magnon coupling, providing a basis for developing multi-node magnonic networks.
