Abstract
By applying hydrostatic pressure to (111)-oriented single-crystalline films, we unveil a sequence of emergent quantum phases. We find transport signatures consistent with a pressure-induced “all-in–all-out” magnetic Weyl metal regime, followed by a temperature-driven evolution back toward the all-in–all-out Weyl semimetal state. Furthermore, at higher temperatures, we observe a pressure-induced weak magnetic hysteresis regime within the cooperative paramagnetic state, which persists far above the Néel temperature and may be associated with the lifting of degeneracy among various local spin configurations. Our results demonstrate that applying pressure to epitaxial films is a powerful strategy for engineering the correlated and topological properties of pyrochlore iridates.
