Abstract
This paper discusses some intriguing questions regarding the covariant Landau theory of Fermi liquids. One question is why this theory, with its off-shell distribution function, is an exact reformulation of classical Landau theory. Other questions address some remarkable properties of covariant Landau theory and its extensions.
