Abstract
Acoustic surface waves in the quasicrystal have been studied by Brillouin spectroscopy. Both surface and bulk velocities of sound were determined. From these was found to be 2.3× dyn/, and is 1.0× dyn/. The attenuation of the Rayleigh wave was also measured.
