Abstract
In this work, we demonstrate a single-mode squeezed light source in a dual-pumped integrated ring microresonator and map the dependence of the noise quadrature on the pump-laser frequency detuning, achieving of squeezing at the optimal operating point. We further demonstrate that utilizing a common-pass local-oscillator approach by passing the local oscillator through the same optical amplification stages as the pumps reduces its integrated root-mean-square phase noise to , enabling minute-scale stable noise measurements.
