Abstract

Controllable hybridization between magnon modes, especially those with different chiralities, could provide more opportunities to design advanced magnonic devices. In the present work, we study magnon mode hybridization in easy-axis ferrimagnets in the magnetic-field-induced canted configuration. We disclose a magic ratio of sublattice magnetization at which the mode hybridization is dramatically suppressed, even with a large canting angle. We also predict an anomalous level synchronization between magnon sidebands and the frequency comb of the excitation field in the nonlinear regime. Our results provide deeper insights into magnons in ferrimagnets, which should be useful in ferrimagnetic magnonics.
