Collective excitations in condensed matter can carry nontrivial topology and provide information about quantum phases beyond their ground-state properties. At the same time, the recent emergence of altermagnetism and related nonrelativistic spin-split electronic states raises the question of how unconventional magnetic symmetry is encoded in their collective excitations. Here, we uncover a continuous evolution from topological excitons to odd-parity magnons across an interaction-driven magnetic transition in the paradigmatic Haldane-Hubbard model. In the paramagnetic phase, our newly found sharp topological excitons soften and condense into a collinear N´eel state, where they evolve into Goldstone magnons displaying characteristic f-wave spin splitting. The topology of these collective modes is tied to the underlying electronic topology, such that an electron band-gap closing enforces a magnon band-gap closing changing the magnon topology. Our results establish a direct connection between topological collective excitations and nonrelativistic odd-parity spin splittings, with potential realizations in Floquet-driven materials and cold atomic gases.
