Abstract
An efficient method predicting the electron density and temperature in partially ionized plasmas with a fraction of atomic oxygen greater than about 10% of all heavy particles of the plasma is presented. The method is valid in plasmas where ≲≲ and 8000 K ≲≲15 000 K [=2(+), and is the density of the oxygen atoms].
