Determination of Ir187 atomic mass by the Os187(3He,t)187Ir reaction

Abstract

The atomic mass excess of Ir187 is determined to be -39.725±0.007 MeV from the measured Q value of -1.521±0.006 MeV for the Os187(3He,t)187Ir reaction. The result is compared with some predicted values.
