Abstract
It is shown that a theoretical result of the so-called pseudo-angular-momentum theory of Josephson tunneling predicting a small correction to the Josephson frequency relation ω=2eV/ħ rests on a physically incorrect account of the voltage across the junction and can therefore not be upheld. A previous argument against the prediction is shown to be incorrect.
