Abstract
Detailed heat-capacity measurements on Co and Mn aluminosilicate spin glasses have been performed in magnetic fields from 0 to 2 T. The decrease in the specific heat in the vicinity of the freezing temperature with the application of a magnetic field is described in terms of a scaling relation with scaling exponents of and for the Co glass, and and for the Mn glass. These values are in good agreement with values determined from magnetization and susceptibility studies.
