    Abstract

Unidirectional light emission is essential for various optoelectronic applications. Moreover, dynamically switching the emission direction while maintaining a stable wavelength is highly desirable. In this work, switchable unidirectional guided resonances are achieved through mode coupling between a grating and a waveguide, enabled by a phase-change material. The emission direction can be dynamically switched from upward to downward without altering the wavelength. Through systematic parameter sweeping, feasible geometric configurations that support this directional switching are identified and analyzed. This study offers valuable insights for advancing dynamic light control in optoelectronic devices.
