Abstract

A simple classical model is used to estimate the deviations of the ${He}^{3}$ quasiparticle energy in ${He}^{4}$ at $T = 0$ from the parabolic form $ε (p) = - E_{0} + \frac{p^{2}}{2 m}$ . The result is in reasonable agreement with a recent experimental determination of this effect.
