Abstract
We present a theoretical study of entanglement between the continuous motional degrees of freedom of two massive, optically trapped particles coupled via the Coulomb interaction in the presence of optimal control. We analytically investigate the effect of temporal modulation on the entanglement strength and derive closed-form expressions for the conditional entanglement. These expressions not only reproduce the numerical results, but also explicitly reveal that entanglement emerges from the competition between parametric gain and decoherence.
