Abstract
For any bipartite Gaussian state, Sec. VI in [Phys. Rev. A 72, 022310 (2005)] proposed a quantification of Gaussian entanglement based on Gaussian entanglement witnesses and implemented its numerical calculation through a semidefinite program. However, we demonstrate that this quantification method is flawed and thus cannot be used for the detection of Gaussian entanglement.
