This image shows Physical Review Letters' December 18th 2015 cover. This issue of PRL contains a pair of Letters that report statistically significant loophole-free Bell tests, which rule out local realism. The basis of the mosaic is a photograph of John Stewart Bell taken by Renate Bertlmann, where the tiles are pictures of some quantum physicists, papers, and experiments.
Download the high resolution pdf (12.3 MB) to zoom in and explore the mosaic tiles. PRL Editor Robert Garisto created the mosaic at the suggestion of one of the authors, Lynden Krister Shalm.
More information on the two papers can be found in the following Physics Viewpoint: Closing the Door on Einstein and Bohr's Quantum Debate.
